The 1770 Golf Course and Driving Range is regarded as one of Queensland’s best kept nine hole golf courses that you can play on, the course is just minutes from the town of 1770. The courses has been laid out so that the needs of both the novice and the avid golfer. It is a great course for the whole family to enjoy but still expect some twists and turns along the way with tricky dog legs to work your way around.
While you enjoy a great game of golf you can always soak up the natural ambience that surrounds you, from the call of the birds, to the lazy kangaroos who bask under the summer sun.
The fully licensed course is open 7 days a week and has been constructed to PGA standards with fully irrigated fairways and surrounds planted to "Legend Couch". The course has been designed to please both the amateur golfer and the more serious player who enjoys a challenge. A 250m driving range is available for use to practice those unrelenting irons, as well as hire clubs & carts to enjoy the course. We are able to cater for large group booking with prior notification.
Set amidst coastal national parks, pristine waterways, unspoilt surf beaches and the Great Barrier Reef, Agnes Water and Town of 1770 are about 1 1/4 hours drive from Bundaberg or Gladstone and approximately 5 hours drive north of Brisbane.
